When she reached out about wanting a luxury Raleigh birthday photoshoot for her 27th birthday, she already knew she wanted something that felt feminine, elevated, and editorial without losing that soft, pretty energy. Basically the perfect Taurus season combination.

And honestly, I love birthday sessions like this because so many people convince themselves they need some huge reason to celebrate themselves. Meanwhile, life is happening right now. You deserve the photos now.

From the moment we started shooting, everything just came together naturally. The faux fur coat gave luxury. The roses gave romance. And once we added the director’s chair setup? Whew. It started feeling like a magazine cover.

My favorite part though was how effortless the session felt. She brought one of her friends with her, we played music the entire shoot, laughed through poses, and just created. Those are always the sessions that end up feeling the most authentic on camera.

And can we please talk about the Taurus Season setup for a second because she absolutely needed that photo.
