I seriously cannot believe my niece is a senior! It feels like I JUST took her pre-K graduation pictures, and now here we are. 😭

One thing about my niece, she knows exactly what she wants (just like her uncle 😂). For her senior look, she wanted this custom tapestry vest made with photos of herself and found someone local here in Raleigh who was able to make it happen. She paired it with a white blouse, bow tie, pleated skirt, ruffle socks and chunky Mary Janes, and the whole look gave us this really cute preppy, Clueless-inspired vibe.

She had already taken her official yearbook portraits, but afterward she called me like, “Uncle B, I want you to do my senior pictures.” 🥹 That meant a lot to me, especially knowing I’ve been photographing her since she was little.

The funny thing is, we didn’t plan any of this. She pulled up to the studio and we just started creating. In about 30 minutes, we played with 2027 graphics, a repeating Senior backdrop, a director’s chair, a few studio props and a spotlight setup.

And somehow THIS is what we walked away with. I love them!

So if you’re Class of 2027 and already filling up your senior picture Pinterest board, hopefully we just gave you a few more ideas to save. 😂
