Senior Yearbook Photoshoot in Downtown Clayton, NC | Marley

Time truly flies. I’ve literally watched Marley grow up. I swear it feels like it was just yesterday that Bobbi, her mother, was expecting her. Here we are 17 years later and Marley is preparing to graduate high school. I can’t believe we’re doing her senior yearbook photoshoot. Aint life funny?

I’ve known Marley since she was born. Her mom, Bobbi Brown of Bobbi Made This, and I go way back. Our families have been close since before I was born. Over the years, Bobbi and I have grown so much closer as two creatives cut from the same cloth. Needless to say, it was an absolute pleasure when she asked me to photograph her talented daughter, Marley, for her Class of 2025 yearbook photo.

I say this often but Marley is incredible, full of creativity and artistic talent. She’s an amazing actress and dancer, with a unique style that truly stands out. In fact, one of my favorite details from our session was her decision to wear eyeshadow on only one eye. It’s such a quirky, creative touch that I absolutely loved. Marley’s boldness and self-expression are a perfect reflection of her artistic spirit, and I’m so excited to see what she will accomplish in the future.

We shot her photos in downtown Clayton, NC, and had so much fun, as we always do when we’re around each other. The energy was great, and Marley made my job easy by delivering stunning shots in literally every frame. Although the session only took about 15 minutes… it was nearly impossible to choose just one image for her yearbook photo because she looked amazing in every shot.

I can’t wait to see Marley thrive during her senior year and beyond. There’s no doubt she will continue to impress and inspire with her talents and creativity.
