I don’t have any children of my own, but I still remember how excited I was when my sisters told me they were expecting. There’s nothing quite like the rush of excitement knowing a new little one is on the way. I can only imagine how much more intense that feeling is for expectant parents.

One of the most magical times in any parent’s life is during pregnancy, especially when it’s their first child. It’s a whirlwind of emotions—joy, anticipation, a bit of nerves—all wrapped up together as they wait for that incredible moment when they can finally hold their baby in their arms. This is why I absolutely love capturing these moments. It’s a season filled with so much love and wonder, and it deserves to be remembered.

When Imani reached out to me to capture her neutral maternity photos, I couldn’t have been more excited.
