When Kimberly shared her vision for an intimate Raleigh courthouse wedding, I knew their day would be truly special. They wanted to celebration that focused on what mattered the most… their love and the people who mean the world to them. Having known Kim for years, being chose as their photographer was an honor that meant so much to me.
I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kashif years ago when Kim first booked me for her graduation photoshoot. Kash came along to support Kim for the shoot, and even then, it was clear how much he cared for her. After knowing Kim and her journey, I remember thinking Kash was the perfect fit. Kim had found her soulmate and it was very apparent.
At the end of that session, we captured a few sweet photos of them as a new couple. Seeing how their love story has grown since then made photographraping their wedding even more meaningul.

The day began at the Hilton Downtown Raleigh where they got dressed in their respective rooms. The perfect location, just a block from the courthouse.

One of the highlights was their unforgettable first look in the Hilton lobby. In true fun-loving fashion, one of Kash’s groomsmen dressed up as the bride for a hilarious prank before Kash got to see his real bride. It had everyone cracking up and made for a memory none of us will ever forget. And when Kash finally laid eyes on Kim, the emotion in the moment was everything.

After their sweet courthouse wedding ceremony, we captured stunning, magazine-worthy “just married” portraits outside of the courthouse, with downtown Raleigh as their backdrop.

From there, we headed to Caffe Luna for their Lady and the Tramp themed reception. The cozy, warm Italian restaurant perfectly suited their celebration. The evening was filled with good food, beautiful toasts, and delicious cake by Cupcakes D’Amour. Kacee with Sheer Main Events made sure every detail of the day ran smoothly. Danielle with My Social BFF documented behind-the-scenes magic as their wedding content creator.
Kim + Kash chose to have an intimate wedding to highlight their love and share it with those who are truly present during this season of their lives. Their day was a reminder of just how beautiful and personal an intimate Raleigh courthouse wedding can be
Congratulations again, Kim and Kash! It was an absolute joy to capture your love story. Wishing you a lifetime filled with happiness, laughter, and endless love.
