I’ve never been afraid to start over.

In fact, the older I get… the more I realize I’d rather start over and get exactly what I want. I’m not afraid to try something different when I’m no longer fueled in my current situation.

This fact alone brought me to a complete rebrand and overhaul of my website and I’m so in love with it!

Welcome to my new home online! This rebrand has truly been a labor of love. The decision to rebrand and redesign came from a place of wanting to serve my clients better. Like I said earlier, I’ve always believed in the power of starting fresh. This new site is a reflection of that.

For years I’ve been taking on these beautiful portrait sessions, delivering digital files, loosely mentioning the product print credit included in each of my packages at the time, and found that no one was printing their photos.

As a photographer, I know how important it is to go beyond just delivering digital files. While those are great, there’s something irreplaceable (cue Beyoncé) about holding a physical print, flipping through a beautifully crafted album, or seeing your memories displayed as art on your walls. Besides, with technology constantly advancing… one day, those digital files are going to be obsolete.

That’s why I’ve shifted my focus to creating heirloom products that you and your loved one can cherish for years to come.

I’ve also refined who I work with to ensure that my services speak to the hearts of those who value what I offer. This site is designed to resonate with everything you love—timeless, beautiful photography that captures your most cherished moments and that leaves you feeling confident, celebrated, and truly seen.

I want to share your stories

And let’s not forget my love for storytelling. Growing up, I was obsessed with magazines. I would literally rush home from school, grab a snack, rush through my homework while catching up on my favorite afternoon UPN shows (Recess and Moesha), and spend the rest of the evening with my face planted in the pages of my favorite magazines. It’s where I fell in love with photography… but I also loved how the words married the photos perfectly and I dreamed of being able to create that same magic one day.

My blog is going to be like my very own magazine. I plan to share my incredible clients’ stories, offer tips on preparing for your photoshoot, and dive into personal reflections on life. I’ll also be sharing my favorite spots and things to do here in Raleigh, making this a space not just for photography, but for celebrating life in all forms.
