Some people walk into the studio and immediately change the temperature of the room. Angele did that without even trying.
Angele reached out to me months before she was due, and even in her first message I could feel how much this season meant to her. She didn’t come in with a long list or big expectations. She just wanted to remember this time. That was it. And that told me everything I needed to know about her.
When we finally connected and I went through her Instagram, I was already excited. She loves being photographed. Not in a performative way, but in a I want to see myself and remember who I am kind of way. That always hits home for me. Plus, she’s stunning!!

We waited a little while before scheduling because we wanted her bump to really show. When she came into the studio that day, I remember thinking how right it felt. The timing. The energy. Her presence. Everything just felt settled. And then a week later, she had her baby. I still think about that. How close we were to the moment everything changed.
Her husband Rene was there with her, and watching the two of them together was honestly beautiful. Not loud. Not performative. Just soft moments between frames. Checking in with each other. Laughing quietly. You could tell how ready they were for this blessing, how much love was already sitting in the room.
This is why I love doing Raleigh maternity photography. It’s not about the perfect pose or the perfect outfit. It’s about being trusted with a moment that someone will never get back.
Angele and Rene gave me that trust, and I don’t take that lightly.
Let’s get you booked!
