Pearsall Family Photoshoot + Brunch 2022
They say that home is where the heart is. So for me, home is where ever my family is. When you think about it, a house is simply a physical structure but when you’re surrounded by your loved ones, home follows you wherever you go… together. Whenever I’m surrounded by my family (whether it be celebrating a holiday or birthday or simply us just hanging out) I’m at my happiest. I can also say the same about being in the atmosphere of love, it’s just something truly precious about those fleeting moments whether it be with my family or yours!
When my friend, Marquince, contacted to me to do some updated family photos, I was all for it. Life is so short so he didn’t want to let another year pass without making it a priority to get updated photos with everyone! It’s so true, photos are the only tangible items that keep our memories cemented. He decided to make an event of it complete with brunch, music and love! He’s a genius!
We met at his family house out in Williamston, NC and shot these photos right in their backyard! Just look at how beautiful all these images are. We went back and forth on whether to shoot these with a backdrop and I must say, shooting these on-location not only feels more genuine and authentic but it also helps to tell the story of the day. Which was so very beautiful, if I might add!
There was so much love present. So many emotions. So many smiles.. and several tears as well.
To add the cherry on top of an amazing experience, Chef TeeJay prepared an AMAZING meal. They opted into shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles and butter pecan cupcakes. I can taste it again just looking at these photos!
