Maternity Photos for Imani | Raleigh NC Photographer

I don’t have any children of my own, but I remember the excitement that pumped through my body when I found out that each of my sisters was expecting one of my nieces or nephews. I can only imagine how excited they were as well.

One of the most beautiful periods in any parent’s life is when they’re expecting. Especially when it’s their firstborn. The process is beautiful, exciting, scary, and every emotion in between as they await the moment that they are able to hold their child child for the first time.

I was beyond excited when Imani contacted me to photograph her maternity photos. She wanted a simple neutral-themed maternity shoot. She opted for a few poses with the silk wrap as well. We got in the studio and created some of my favorite photos. I know I say that a lot and I mean it every time 😂.
